Giant Moose of The Alaskan Range
If you want to hunt the big Alaskan/Yukon moose you need to commit to going to one of the best areas in Alaska, hunting with one of the top outfitters, and being patient until an opportunity presents itself. Our partner outfits in a premier moose hunting region. You will be hunting the rolling foothills of the Alaskan Range.
On this trophy moose hunt you and your guide will be hunting the game rich foothills of the famous Alaskan range. Our outfitting partner has enjoyed a high success rate of 80-100% on 50-inch plus bulls for several years. This is a spot and stalk hunt. You will spend your time on a vantage point glassing for big bulls! During the hunting season the moose rut is just kicking in and the normally reclusive bulls come out of hiding to chase cows. You may also be engaging in calling to these big boys during your hunt. When the time is right bulls respond aggressively to both cow calling and to challenge calls. Your guide is trained in both. One thing we want you to consider when going on any moose hunt. Don’t expect to see dozens of moose on your hunt. Have your trophy expectations going in and stick to them. It is in your best interest to be in good shape for any Alaskan hunting adventure, as the terrain can be very demanding.
Our Outfitting Partner:
Link’s Wild Safaris owner Jay Link has had the please to hunt with this outfitter and his team on several occasions. Jay was even fortunate to take a beautiful glacier bear on one of the hunts. All of his hunting units have the potential to produce trophy animals. If you are in pursuit of a true monster mountain goat this is the Alaskan outfitter you want to hunt with.
Food & Lodging:
This is a tent based camp and a true wilderness adventure. You will be eating freeze-dried foods along with some fresh food flown in at the beginning of your hunt.
