Manager & Senior International Hunting & Fishing Consultant
Jim’s outdoors life began in Minnesota. Known as the Land of 10,000 Lakes, Minnesota is a great place to start a career as an International hunting and fishing consultant. Jim is looking forward to managing and growing the Link’s Wild Safaris consulting team.
Jim grew up in Maplewood, a suburb of St. Paul, an area known for its outstanding fishing. Many summer days found Jim riding his bike to the nearest lake, pond or river to chase sunfish, crappie, and the occasional northern pike. Jim’s father knew he needed to get this young and curiosity-driven explorer more room to roam. It was then that he purchased what became known to friends as simply “The Farm”.
The Farm was two hours from the cities in the heart of prime hunting and fishing country, very close to the famous Mille Lacs Lake, known for its monster walleye. It was there Jim’s hunting and fishing addictions hit the hardcore mark. Whitetails, black bears, ruffed grouse and ducks called this region home, and on the weekends, so did Jim.
In addition to roaming “The Farm”, Jim, his father and friends traveled to North and South Dakota, Wisconsin and Canada on various hunting and fishing adventures.
When it was time for college, Jim attended The University of Wisconsin-Stout where he received his degree in Marketing Education. Stout was a great place to get an education and, of course, hunts and fishes. After college, Jim worked for two high-profile companies as a territory sales manager. Four years later, he decided to hang up the suits and began his quest for making a living, sharing the outdoors he loved so much with others.
Jim had no idea how many other people had this same dream! Fortunately, Jim was able to use his extensive sales and marketing background to gain a spot on the world-respected Cabela’s Outdoor Adventures team. Jim may have been a decent hunter and guide at this point, but Cabela’s saw to it that Jim traveled the world, honing his skills as a hunter and as a hunting and fishing consultant. Some of the destinations Jim has hunted and fished are: Africa, Russia, Argentina, Bolivia, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, all over Canada and the United States.
It was a difficult decision to leave Cabela’s, but Jim wanted the freedom to spend more time in the field guiding hunters and fishermen. Subsequently, Jim guided in Colorado, Alaska, and South Dakota for elk, mule deer, antelope, brown bear, black bear and moose. Jim feels his time guiding gives him more respect with the outfitters that Link’s Wild Safaris represents.
To reach Jim Riley, please don’t hesitate to call him 7-days a week at 406-580-4036.

Jeremy was born and raised in a farming family in southeastern “Bluff Country”, Minnesota. As a boy, he enjoyed following in his father’s footsteps on the creek banks fishing, trapping, as well as sharing his passion for archery hunting trophy whitetails in the fall.
Jeremy moved to Alaska after graduating from high school in 1998. He moved to Alaska to pursue his dream of being an Alaska hunting and fishing guide, something he’d always dreamed of even as a young boy. His first Job in Alaska was as a fishing guide and packing on hunts for Rainbow River Lodge in the Bristol Bay Region. He worked there for several years hunting moose, caribou, and brown bear. He also spent many years guiding for moose and sheep in the Alaska range with another outfitter.
After several years of guiding for other people and gaining priceless knowledge and experience, he decided to get his registered guide license and started his own operation, Rogue Expeditions. He also got his pilot’s license and does his own cub flying. He tailors all of his hunts to his clients’ desires and is a hard working honest outfitter focused on providing a safe and enjoyable experience.
Jeremy has hunted in several countries in Europe and Africa along with most western states. He has taken 17 different North American big game species with archery equipment and is focused on completing an archery grand slam. His latest accomplishment is taking the #7 Pope and Young Brown bear.
Along with running his guiding business in Alaska, Jeremy has been hosting many hunting trips each year as well as booking many of his hunters on some of the great trips he has been on previously. He has decided in the best interest of his clients to team up with Link’s Wild Safaris to give a wider variety of hunting opportunities, and to make sure any of their needs will be taken care of while he may be out in the field.
Jeremy truly loves sharing his knowledge and passion for others.
