Bear Hunting Expeditions
A True Wilderness at the Edge of the World
Located in the far eastern reaches of Russia, the Kamchatka Peninsula is one of the wildest regions left on Earth. Volcanic landscapes, dense forests, river systems, and minimal human development create an ideal habitat for massive brown bears. Kamchatka bears are known for their size, thick coats, and coloration, making this destination a benchmark hunt for serious brown bear hunters. Its remoteness and strict permit system help preserve both the quality of the experience and the caliber of the trophies.
For more than two decades, Links Wild Safaris Global has operated premier Russian Brown Bear hunts in the Kamchatka Peninsula, one of the most remote and wild landscapes on earth. These expeditions are designed for serious hunters seeking an authentic, physically demanding hunt with the potential for exceptional trophies. From the moment you arrive, our team manages the complexities of international hunting in Russia, ensuring a smooth transition from city logistics to deep wilderness. Whether you hunt in spring or fall, Kamchatka delivers a raw, unforgettable pursuit in a place few hunters will ever experience.
Seasonality & Hunt Style
Spring Hunts: Conducted during the early season when bears emerge from hibernation and move through open terrain.
Fall Hunts: Focused on bears feeding heavily in preparation for winter, often producing exceptional size and condition.
Both seasons are physically demanding and require hunters to be prepared for variable weather, rugged terrain, and long days in the field. The reward is a classic, old-world hunting experience with world-class trophies.
Duration & Logistics
Hunts typically range from 7 to 10 days in the field, not including international travel. Our Russian partners meet clients in Moscow, assist with firearm clearance, handle permits, and coordinate domestic flights to Petropavlovsk. From there, transportation is arranged directly to camp. Every logistical detail is handled so hunters can focus solely on the experience.
