Tanzania remains one of Africa’s classic hunting destinations. The country’s vast, unfenced concessions span miombo woodlands, savannah plains, riverine thickets and marshy floodplains. Hunting is strictly fair‑chase, shooting from vehicles and taking females or immature animals are prohibited. Our safaris pair you with experienced professional hunters (PHs) and support teams; you’ll stay in comfortable tented camps or lodges, with meals and daily field services included. Each package below is designed for specific goals and budgets, from focused buffalo hunts to full dangerous‑game adventures.
Diverse Ecosystems
Selous Game Reserve: Divided into 46 blocks with miombo woodland and riverine thickets, Selous holds high densities of Buffalo, Leopard, Lion, Crocodile and Hippopotamus.
Masailand & North: Savannah plains and acacia woodland where Kudu, Gerenuk, Lesser Kudu, Zebra and Gazelles are primary species.
Western Tanzania: Bordering Katavi and Ruaha National Parks, these blocks host Buffalo, Roan Antelope, Sable and Lichtenstein’s Hartebeest.
Coastal & Eastern Swamps: Marshy areas where Nile Buffalo, Sitatunga and Suni require tracking through papyrus and swamp.
These varied habitats allow hunters to tailor their experience and pursue multiple species across one safari.

Seasonality & Timing
Tanzania’s hunting season runs from July 1 through December 31. Early months often feature lush vegetation and cooler weather, while later months bring drier conditions and easier visibility. Licences are issued for 7‑, 16‑ or 21‑day safaris. Hunts must be booked within these dates; your schedule can be customised during the inquiry process to match your species priorities and weather preferences.
