Mongolia offers a rare opportunity to hunt some of Asia’s most iconic mountain game across vast, open landscapes. Weather and timing are important considerations. July and August can be very hot, with temperatures reaching near 100 degrees, making midday hunting difficult. September is often considered the best overall time for hunting, especially for Gobi and Hangai. The Altai area is generally better later in September as the game begins moving down when temperatures cool.
