Niassa Reserve One of Africa’s largest conservation areas, Niassa hosts four of the Big Five along with hippo and crocodile. Concessions outside Niassa Mozambique’s central provinces offer opportunities for plains game such as kudu, bushpig and bushbuck as well as leopard and crocodile. These areas are more accessible but still operate under strict quotas and community benefit models.
