Denny Gerunick Outdoor Adventures

Denny Geurink’s Outdoor Adventures, now a Link’s Wild Safaris Company is the Number one Brown Bear company in the world with more entries in the World Record Books than any other company. Currently we have 43 entries in the top 51 spots in the Safari Club International World Record Book. Twice as many as our nearest competitor! We have been hunting in Russia for over two decades and during that time frame we have taken over 1,000 people to Russia. We are near 100% on everything we hunt. Our Brown Bear and Moose hunts are especially successful. DGOA/LWS takes care of all of the paperwork for licenses, tags, CITIES permits, vet certificates, etc. We also have a travel agent who coordinates the hunts so everyone arrives and leaves together. You will either fly to Moscow or we meet you at the airport in the baggage claim area and travel with you all the way to where we head to camp. We may or may not be in your particular camp, but we will escort you to and from the hunting area back to Moscow. You are never floundering around on your own, like other outfitters. The hides are processed (salted and fleshed) and then sent to you taxidermist. Russia’s northeast part, the Kamchatka Peninsula and the coast regions of the Pacific Ocean, have the highest density of brown bears. There are Eurasian Brown Bear, Siberian Brown Bear, Syrian Brown Bear, and Ussuri Brown Bear. Moose are found in high concentrations on the Kamchatka peninsula. We offer moose hunts in two different ways – during the rut in late September and early October. This is a very physical hunt and requires a lot of walking. We also do a snowmobile hunt in early to mid November which is a lot easier as hunters, simply ride around on a sled behind the guide on a snowmobile, who takes you to the yarding areas to look for moose and follow tracks.

MKWAWA

Go Hunt Tanzania.com – Partnering with MKWAWA Safaris has allowed LWS Clients access to spectacular hunting opportunities in Tanzania!

Tanzania is located in East Africa, off the shores of the Indian Ocean. Bordered by Kenya to the north and Mozambique to the south. Tanzania is home to a wide range of African wildlife and allows hunting of the famous Big Five species; Elephant, Lion, Buffalo and Leopard. It is no wonder with over 40 species to hunt, including some of the best big game hunting found in Africa. The wildlife of Tanzania includes an enormous variety of potential hunting trophies such as Cape Eland, Roan Antelope, Roosevelt Sable, Greater Kudu, Lesser Kudu, Coke’s Hartebeest, Lichtenstein’s Hartebeest, Western Hartebeest, Topi, Fringed Eared Oryx, Bridled or Nyasa or Blacked Tail Gnu, Common Waterbuck, Defassa Waterbuck, Situtunga, Common Reedbuck, Bohor Reedbuck, Impala, Grant’s Gazelle, Robert’s Gazelle, Thomson’s Gazelle, Waller’s Gazelle, Common Duiker, Peters’ Duiker, Kirk Dik-Dik, Klipspringer, Oribi, Bushpig, Warthog, Hippos and Crocodiles are hunted. Tanzania also hosts a large population of Cheetahs as well, however they are fully protected and may not be hunted.

All these species are spread over three main hunting areas in Tanzania but all are not found in every area. The hunting areas are the Masai Land to the north, the Selous to the south and the center and western regions. The trophy quality is outstanding and many trophies taken have qualified for prestigious awards in Safari Club International. Most of the Tanzanian terrain costs of shrub savannah, dry and green grassy savannah, broken up by areas of somewhat dense forest. In some regions there are Sahelo-Sudanes zones such as in the northern most part of Masa land which can be very dry and semi-dry like. In the Selous region some of the forest can be quite dense. The overall terrain is generally flat and offers little difficulty other than in the Masai country where some areas can be quite rugged.
